The Grande Dame Alliance is that group of seasoned and experienced women (62+ years old) who have held every type of position of leadership imaginable and are able to guide and direct us with tender loving motherly care. This group is headed by Rev. Argentina Glasgow who herself is a remarkably phenomenal and dignified woman. We are grateful to Rev. Argentina for her willingness to organize and head this special group of AAWLC women into the future.
As Director of the Grande Dame Alliance, Rev. Glasgow with the assistance of our founder (Dr. Crocheron) has composed a mission statement for the Alliance as follows:
--to offer guidance to the larger AAWLC body in regard to projects and programs to meet the needs of women and families and to seek out, name and recognize women around the world who are matriarchs within their families or groups.
